The Tosa Inu, or Japanese Mastiff, is a Japanese working dog that can weigh up to 200 pounds and pull much heavier loads. Their powerful bodies and jaws can pull up to 3,000 pounds. With proper training, they can be gentle and calm, but their presence alone is intimidating. The breed is restricted in some countries due to its working history, but not all dogs are automatically challenging.
