The Kangal is a giant mastiff breed strong enough to fend off predators like wolves and bears. This large shepherd dog comes from Turkey. Depending on upbringing and environment, this breed can be a family's best friend or biggest challenge. Kangals are protective but are usually gentle when calm. Their bite force is said to reach up to 743 psi, and they will defend themselves if they sense danger.
