If your dog has a yeast infection, apple cider vinegar can help. The acetic acid in the vinegar cleans dirt and grime and kills yeast cells. If you're sure your dog doesn't have a skin allergy, use an apple cider vinegar mixture with water to rinse the ears. This will help remove dirt, wax, and other debris that are causing inflammation in your pup's ears.
Hexenmusel
If your dog has an ear infection, there are a few herbs you can use to help relieve pain and inflammation. Vinegar helps fight bacteria and fungi, while witch hazel has anti-inflammatory properties. Use a syringe to tip your dog's ear flap and squirt 15-ml of witch hazel into their ear canal, then rub the base thoroughly. This is an effective way to clean their ears without drying them out and also reduces redness and swelling.
Green tea
Green tea can temporarily soothe an inflamed dog's ear. Plus, its antioxidant content helps fight infections. To clean your dog's ear canal, dip a cotton ball in a cup of green tea and rub it around her ear canal. You can do this twice a day; just be careful not to put the tip in her ear, as this could cause pain. Also, make sure your pup eats a high-quality diet, gets plenty of exercise, and keeps her coat well groomed. These simple practices will all help increase her immunity and reduce the likelihood of ear infections.
olive oil
Olive oil is a safe, natural treatment for ear infections that will reduce swelling and fight infection. It also nourishes the ears to promote healing and keep your pup comfortable. Use a dropper to put olive oil in your dog's ear. Then massage gently to help the oil penetrate deep into the canal.
