The Tibetan Mastiff is a huge dog. The color of his medium to long double coat changes with the temperature. Weighing between 100 and 150 pounds, this large, alert dog is a fierce protector of his family. The American Kennel Club calls this breed the "Guardian Dog Supreme" due to his calmness indoors and intense territoriality outdoors. Once the watchdogs of the Himalayas, Tibetan Mastiffs are independent and confident. They brazenly use their 24- to 26-inch size to their advantage when confronted by someone they perceive as a threat. This dog's baritone bark, intimidating weight, and amazing agility will scare off intruders.
29.Dog Wolf
Four species of wolves - the gray wolf, eastern wolf, red wolf, and Ethiopian wolf - were crossbred to create this breed. These dogs have a fear-inducing tone that can be difficult to interpret or manage due to their wolf DNA, making them not only a problematic pet, but also illegal to own in many places, including New York. According to the International Wolf Center, a wolfdog's behavior can be unpredictable. However, like the other dogs on this list, with the right training, the wolfdog could become a person's best friend.
